Over the past few months, I've had to grieve over the end of an eight-year relationship as well as the death of my father. Both experiences have taught me lessons about love, in all its many forms. And both experiences have taught me the power of the simple prayer, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”
But my recent trip to #Barcelona was a reminder that even though life can get ugly sometimes, there is still #beauty to be found in the simple things. By choosing to see beauty, we become grateful for our experiences because we understand that they are necessary for our growth. It’s time to purge the old to make room for the new. Here’s to more beauty, #gratitude and #hope in 2019.
